I went here yesterday but I had an unpleasant experience. One of the staffs was very rude. She directed me to the end of the line she made. So I moved to the place she directed. Few minutes later, a Japanese woman appeared and she waited at the place where I was before that staff asked me to move. And then that rude staff talked to that woman in Japanese "you are earlier (than her/me) right?". And that Japanese woman said "no she's earlier than me". But that rude staff insisted and said to her "are you sure?". I really don't understand why? Why she made me feel really unwanted, like I was gonna ask her for a free coffee? I ignored her and just ordered my coffee and cookies. They were actually pretty good. But not long after me and my friends finished our coffees and cookies, that rude staff came to us again, and cleaned up our tables with her "go away" face. Why would you do this to your customers? All Press has the potential to be a top notch coffee shop. It smells incredible—damn, I do love the smell of roasted coffee—and the drinks were top notch. The cold brew coffee is slightly sour on first taste, but that evaporates quickly to a very smooth finish. The iced caffe mocha is heaven in a glass: chocolaty, creamy, delicious. The establishment is large, airy, cabin like establishment stuck in the middle of Tokyo. Unfortunately, there are two problems: one, seating is minimal which is surprising based upon the size of the coffee shop and two, customers are not allowed to use their restroom, an odd choice for a place that serves caffeinated beverages and food. Good experience at the cashier (American girl) was nice but it all went downhill from there. Other staff (Asian male with good English and Japanese female with broken English) needs to be re-trained in customer service. 1. Five people cannot fit in one of your table spots. Not possible! 2. If customers order their drinks in takeaway cups, it is still reasonable for them to sit down and enjoy their coffee in store. 3. If paying customers are still sitting at the tables finishing up, don’t come up and ask them to move on and return the table. Especially if you don’t have other customers waiting for a table. 4. Coffee was average, berry smoothie was average.
