Asiatique (Indian & Thai Restaurant) — Restaurant in Tokyo

NOT CONFIRMED IF HALAL. The service was ok, the food is delicious but the chicken is a little bit undone. When I asked if it was halal (Biryani chicken) he said yes BUT I didn't feel he was confident with his answer! Although he pointed to the halal certificate on the wall. I kept wondering why he wasn't confident about it, I felt something "fishy". Then they served me a shrimp crackers as a compliment and when I asked if it was halal he said he didn't know! Then I immediately gave it back and thankfully didn't eat it. I ate my order and got up to pay and leave, I looked carefully this time at the certificate again and it was EXPIRED! (Since 2020 and we're in 2024!) So, I DO NOT recommend going there for the so called halal food, as I didn't feel good about the whole situation, the halal certificate is expired, they served me something they didn't know if halal or not although he knew I was Muslim since I asked before, and lastly he definitely was not confident when I answered me, I felt he was hiding something. If you're NOT Muslim though it's delicious. Also they don't serve any diet...

What a delicious hidden gem. My husband and I stopped in here after seeing their menu from the outside and we were not disappointed! My husband got the mutton curry (with unlimited naan and rice) and I got the lunch combo II (choice of noodles and gapao rice). I got the pad Thai and gapao and it was delicious, this was my favorite version of pad Thai that I’ve had in Japan! The mutton in the curry was soft and tender and the naan was so fresh and delicious as well. We ordered a second order of naan and when it came out, it was so soft and buttery. We are definitely coming back again to try the other items...
