Had the lunch set on a weekday as we were close by. 1300 yen for the lunch set seemed a little steep for the location but the food quality was very good. The mushroom soup that came out first place was especially unique and would definitely get that again. Only downside is that it may be slightly less filling for the price.

Food was delicious - pickled carrots, 1/2 order grilled mushrooms, 1/2 order pickled sardines, and paella cooked with squid ink. Owner’s devotion to his cuisine is apparent as only the freshest ingredients are used and carefully prepared. Service was friendly. It’s a small, quaint place. Nothing fancy but very down to earth. A bit of a hike for me, yet worth the trip. I left stuffed and very satisfied....
