Looks nice from the outside & modern, but not so nice once you're inside the baths. Some of the shower heads on the bathing stations are loose so the water can't be aimed towards you and essentially unusable. Even the shower heads that are usable would lose its angle and droop so you have to adjust it all the time. Some of the push faucets are cracked so the water leaks out all the time. The water temperature also fluctuates from lukewarm to very warm.
It was very crowded when I went on a Saturday night. The baths are not very big and there was barely any space to enter. Only 3 hair dryers that are free of charge and during my time there, there was a group of 3 young women who occupied them and the space in front of the mirror for a long time. The changing area feels really small, only 1 tiny bench in the middle.
One of the outdoor baths (the black one) is supposedly natural hot spring water. The other one is yellow in color and is salty, supposedly good for your health.
No shampoo or soap so bring your own. Bring some 100 yen coins because the shoe locker and the locker inside require 100 yen deposit to be locked. Sauna is...

I believe the reason for this is that this Sento has two types of onsen, and furthermore, they also provide a cold bath using black onsen water. The water is amazing, and I truly experienced the power of onsen water. However, it may be difficult to experience complete silence or achieve "Totonoi" (Japanese sauna lovers' term for deep relaxation after taking sauna and a cold bath) at this place.
This place is popular, so the baths are always full of customers, most of whom are regulars. They were chatting and drinking bottle of water in the bath tubs, and honestly, I didn't find it to be clean or enjoyable. In Japan, drinking in the bath tab or sauna is usually prohibited (though I'm not sure about the specific rule at...
Read moreLovely hot springs and super cold bath, with facilities to rent towels, shower gel and shampoo. The bath with the electric current against the back wall helped my low back pain. The jacuzzi helped my shoulder pain. I left with smooth, soft skin and feeling very relaxed! Lockers are available to keep your valuables. None of the staff spoke English but we were lucky that one customer could and explained things to us. You pay at the vending machine for the type of services/things you want, and present the ticket to the staff for entry. Cash only. There's another machine to break up large notes onto smaller ones. The staff gave us small change in coins for the lockers (100 Yen each), in exchange for a larger note. Highly recommended as a break from the busy city. We will be back before we...
