As a Google reviewer I count on Google review to identify new restaurants and places to visit especially while travelling. This bakery has a 4.8 Google review that’s very reassuring. As it is not close to subway station, I took a 40-min walk from my hotel. This bakery is truly a hidden gem.

Decoration of the bakery is very pretty and offers a very comforting ambiance. Great music. All bakery are pre-packed for easy selection with name tags to indicate the ingredients. Some variety of the bread offer half or even quarter size! They are very soft and fresh. The store has some seatings to allow eat in. Staff are very friendly and patient to allow me to take photos. I bought a few items and they offer me three big slices of sour dough bread for free! They definitely live up to the 5 stars rating!...

One of the best sourdoughs I've ever eaten. Bartizan sourdough loaf is a generous size, crust is crunchy but not too hard, and middle has a great flavor and slightly chewy. Also tried some whole wheat sourdough which has a delicious wholemeal bread flavor.

I eat sourdough every week in Australia for years so have had plenty to compare. I could speak English with the friendly lady at the counter, who confirmed that their sourdough process takes 3-4 days. Shop was nicely presented and lots on the menu that I want to come back and try. Only catch was they do not accept cash (card only) but I was able to use Aussie Visa card for payment. I would recommend to anybody, and look forward to...

Wow, so this is how a bread heaven looks like in Tokyo ! :-)

Definitely a bread shop that knows it's trade !

I was strolling by and almost walked in by chance.

Shop decoration is beautiful, staff is hospitable and the bread smell is ..... HEAVEN !!! ✨ ❤️ 😂

They start preparing bread from 11 PM the night before. Usually that means they bake several times during the night.

With the first batch completing around 3-4 AM, continuing with the last batches probably around lunch or so.

So you can be rest assured your bread is fresh from the same day !

Try it out, you won't regret, that's my central european confidence ! 😜🙏

Bonus: Buy after 6 PM and before they close for a...

Best sourdough I've had in Tokyo so far in a very beautiful space! Incredibly kind owner and staff (also English friendly, owner lived in LA for a few years). We came around Saturday noon (not too crowded which is wild for a weekend in Tokyo) and had their iced coffee in store which came with a complimentary sourdough shokupan slice and dipping oil, in addition to the chocolate walnut loaf which upon asking came with calpis (!!) compound butter. Everything was delicious with really reasonable prices (especially considering the area) and amazing service. Go before the crowds start filling this place to the brim :)

This place deserves 5 stars. It’s really clean inside. You feel so welcomed. The morning staff especially is always helpful and pleasant. They play nice music. I usually arrive 7:55 am and I know they open at 8:00 am but she would let me in. I come here before going to work. Their bread is really delicious and I think it’s now my favorite bread shop in Tokyo. I’m sure that I’ll continue supporting them. Thank you for the delicious bread.
