The first thing I would say about here is that's it's primarily a pasta shop, where you can buy premium, hand made pasta, and is produced by the owner at the front of the building. There is a big window there so from time to time, you'll be able to watch his master craft. In the evening he opens up a very small restaurant to seat around 8 people and you can order a couple of dishes that he produces. He admittedly says that he isn't a chef and he's more of a pasta maker, and only sells 2 types of dish, but they are cooked to perfection and he puts emphasis on the taste and texture of the pasta itself, so don't expect any big flavour sauces... However, the quality of his work is second to none and is by far some of the most delicate and tender pasta I've tried.
The owner was also very nice to talk to and chatted to him all throughout my experience. His English was very good and I had no problems staying in long conversations!
So, if you're looking to try the very best pasta experience, I'd recommend coming here.
(The 2 dishes we tried were ¥1000 for tagliatelle and ¥2200 for a type of cheese and spinach ravioli. Very simple dishes that put primary focus on the...

Currently, only the tagliatelle is available either bianco or bolognese - recommended get both to get a good taste of the pasta with the bianco while also getting a taste of the very traditional bolognese. There is only space for 6 seats, so depending on day there could be a wait - we came during the middle of the week and were...

Reading more negative reviewers, what’s obvious is their ignorance - the food here is world class, the thinnest noodles made by hand (not a pasta roller). It’s delicate beyond perfection and unlike anything you will have ever...
