This is one of those places so good that I want to gate-keep.
The restaurant is run by two lovely gentlemen, who are so passionate about what they do. Be sure to grab a counter seat because you can see the chef masterfully cook your food right in front of you, and I’ve enjoyed so many fun conversations with them, talking about random things but also sharing our passion for food. The chef spent 10 years in Italy, and is super knowledgeable about the cuisine. It’s such a unique culinary experience, not just eating but also learning so much about what you’re eating.
Generally you can never go wrong with the chef’s recommendations. They change the menu seasonally to get the freshest ingredients, so don’t hesitate to ask. My favorites are probably the seasonal pastas, and as other reviews mentioned the liver is a must try if they have it in stock. Also always end the meal with their tiramisu - it’s the best tiramisu I had in my life.

Heads up: They have two types of courses or an la carte menu. If you want to go with the course, all members in your party need to order the same course. You can’t mix courses. They can make small tweaks on request! A la carte can be split into however many people are in your party too. This place is small but try to get a counter table seat. Watching them do their thing in the kitchen is part of the experience!
