Butter Coffee Stand — Restaurant in Tokyo

The food and drink was good, the interior was stylish but the dining in experience wasn’t great. Since the space is limited the wait was too long because people who had already finished their meals kept sitting at the tables for over an hour after their meals are finished. I nearly waited too long until i had to leave for my next appointment and this ruined my whole impression.

If space is limited, I think people should be encouraged leave a while after their meals are finished because people are made to wait.

There was also 2 tables that was reserved and they were half an hour late. The reserved tables took out 1/3 of the cafe. I think for a better experience if reservations are 10 minutes late, the table should be given to those who are waiting for a spot.

These slight improvements would do a lot!

Real coffee, done right. I'm fussy with coffee, I'm normally let down, not here!

Grind weighed out, shot weighed out, large, professional machine. Silky smooth milk, ergonomic lid. Sometimes, it's the little things.

Friendly staff. Some baked goods are made on premises.

My wife said she'd had better matcha, but it was the 2nd best she'd had, so I'll keep it at 5 stars 🌟

My double shot latte was perfect, as it is a little unconventional, sometimes I get some push back, not here. I asked for it extra hot, it was delivered perfectly, hot, NOT burned, like some cafes will.

If you'd like a decent coffee, I'd definitely make the effort to make it to butter...

I had the charcoal latte and a chocolate cannelé here on my last coffee date with my friend L. I think this was probably one of my first times trying a charcoal latte, and I must say it tastes pretty good, even if I'm probably gonna be a forever cappuccino girl. The cannelé was truly out of this world, crunchy on the outside, and a soft chocolate core. This was the first time I got to try a freshly baked one and now I can safely say that the store-bought cannelés can't stand a chance.
