☕ My order: Cafe Latte 890¥ Food - No food ordered, though it looked delicious 🤤
Drinks 5/5 Delicious Cafe Latte with a lovely Murakami flower art piece made of cocoa powder! Look how beautiful it is! And it was amazing, I will definitely be coming back, one of my favorite cafes! Also the mug is super beautiful and perfectly matches the theme of the Cafe! So lovely!
Atmosphere 5/5 Cozy, retro and unique. I loved the fact that you can play retro games on your table if you are so inclined, or watch the TV, or admire the amazing decoration. There is so much to do! All whilst being cozy enough to relax and just take it in in a very calm state of mind! Definitely coming back!
Cleanliness 5/5 Top! No complaints
Service 5/5 Wonderful staff, polite, efficient and good at what they are doing! Thank you!

Read moreIt seems to be another victim of over tourism and thus hating the tourists that you make money off. All the food and beverage are about double the cost of elsewhere. I can't speak to the quality other than it visibly looked mid quality, because unfortunately they refused to serve me. Apparently because I came alone I was the lowest priority. After finally being seated at the counter after taking a number (even though my seat was empty the whole time I waited) first the server did not give me a menu. Then after I begged for one, she refused to take my order (then just stood around doing nothing), pointing to the guy serving a line of to-go orders and merchandise sales. I waited for him to serve the person he was with and then tried to order. Nope, he gestured to the line. Apparently I would not be served until or unless the line was empty (it never was, because there was a never ending line of tourists willing to buy 400$ worth of mugs with flowers on them).
By this point I decided to just leave and had much superior, more affordable, delicious coffee and cake at Sakakoshi...
Read moreI visited Cafe Zingaro during my trip to Tokyo and absolutely loved it! Produced by contemporary artist Takashi Murakami, this café blends colorful, pop-art vibes with the nostalgic charm of a retro Japanese kissaten, creating an atmosphere that’s both playful and cozy.
The space is filled with vibrant artwork, and the signature Flower character even shows up as adorable latte art, which honestly felt too cute to drink. The drinks and food were not only photogenic but also genuinely tasty.
Everywhere you look, there are little details that reflect Murakami’s world, from the colorful wall art to the neon signs glowing behind the counter. The interior is insanely cute, and every table is an old-school arcade machine that you can actually play. Such a fun and unique experience! They also sell exclusive goods and limited-edition items you won’t find anywhere else.
Definitely one of the most memorable spots I visited in Tokyo. Highly recommended for anyone who loves art, vintage vibes, or just wants to see something...
