When I first arrived at the restaurant, I was surprised because I could smell rosemary. The location is very "Instabae", which had me worried because often times restaurants will emphasize atmosphere and appearance over good food. I'M SO HAPPY I WAS WRONG. The food was absolutely amazing. First off, the pickles (while albeit a fairly small portion) were phenomenal. Particularly the quail eggs, which had been infused with cardamom. Next, the fish and chips were spectacular. The potato wedges really stole the show. I realized this dish was the source of the rosemary in the air. Cloves or garlic and sprigs of rosemary were roasted along with the potatoes, which gave them a delicious flavor.

Read moreWhat a delightful surprise. We found this small and cozy restaurant while walking around in Tamagawa. We liked the retro style and entered, to find a small counter and 4 tables.
Menu is limited but everything looked very appetising. We got fish and chips and an hamburger. Both were freshly made and tasted great. Service was also friendly and well timed.
British radio was on all the time to give a touch of foreign to the place.
