At first I didn’t understand what the hype was about this place, but the more I ate here, the more I understood why. The flavour is relatively simple, but it’s this simplicity that makes it an easy daily driver. The bonus deep fried onions you can put on top and a little bit of black pepper take the ramen here a long way. Oh, and the yaki wonton is a MUST. Delicious. My only knock is the price adds up super quick here. Sign of the times? Soup: simple, but also something comforting you can drink daily Noodles: easily slurpable. Toppings: classic Chinese toppings…delicious.

I felt it could have been a little bit more spicy though. The chashu was really nice 👍🏽 I also had the ルーロー飯 which is like a stewed pork rice bowl. It also asked very nutty and a bit peppery. It was very delicious. It was nice to use the rice and finished the rest of my tantanmen broth 🤤 The gyoza looked really good and I want to go back and try it!
