At first I didn’t understand what the hype was about this place, but the more I ate here, the more I understood why. The flavour is relatively simple, but it’s this simplicity that makes it an easy daily driver. The bonus deep fried onions you can put on top and a little bit of black pepper take the ramen here a long way.
Oh, and the yaki wonton is a MUST. Delicious.
My only knock is the price adds up super quick here. Sign of the times?

I had the Chashu Tantanmen (チャシュー担担麺) and it tasted very good. It had a nice nutty and creamy flavor. I felt it could have been a little bit more spicy though.

I also had the ルーロー飯 which is like a stewed pork rice bowl. It also asked very nutty and a bit peppery. It was very delicious. It was nice to use the rice and finished the rest of my tantanmen broth 🤤
