Meguro Midori Hotel — Hotel in Tokyo

Getting off at Meguro station, a 3 minute walk will bring you to this hostel that makes good on it's name, Midori (green in Japanese) with a beautiful wall of greenery climbing up the building.

The magic is unfortunately quickly broken once entering this cramped facility. After a quick self-service check-in (provided you filled out the information before arriving) you get your codes for the stay and make your way to the capsules that will be your place of rest for the duration.

Every nook and cranny of the dwelling has been stuffed with capsule beds, and their sizes widely vary. If lucky, you can fit your backpack or luggage into it, or under the capsule, but no logic seems to have been applied to this. A height of architecture with no regard for functionality. As such, make care not to trip over the luggage dotted around.

Passing the reception and diving into the basement using the stairs (as no elevator will take you there) one will find a collection of showers and similar facilities. The saving grace is the free use of as many towels...

周りの住人ですが、最悪です。

タバコポイ捨て上等、よくわからんバイク停め放題、よくわからん緑のコーンを道路に放置（そこ道路ですが？しかも、駐車禁止と書かれてる。お前ら工事中にさんざんそこに迷惑駐車しまくってたやろ？なにが、駐車禁止やｗｗｗ）

工事の段階からこの建物の前に路上駐車4台ぐらい並んでて、かなり通りにくい状況でした。

まぁ、これが民泊？の民度で...
