Chuuka Soba Sai — Restaurant in Tokyo

Went there twice as my AirBnB was nearby the area.. The owner was quite friendly and patient with me and my broken Japanese. The coupon machine was broken so the owner himself will take your order and return you your change.

The tsukemen was great and the noodles (I picked medium) were nice and bouncy. The broth was heavily flavoured and was abundantly filled with ingredients. I tried both the special soy and Taiwan style sauce. Loved both flavours.

Only downside was the store was a little small and you might have to squeeze behind other people. Going solo or as a pair would be recommended as it really...

I recommend eating at this small noodle place. I would definitely go back there again. The noodle there is very tasty and the portion is good for the price that you pay. It may sounds strange but I want to try the noodle with extra fat next time. The cost of benishio (red salt) noodle that I paid was 760 yen including tax. There are only 7 seats in the store and it may take about 10 minutes for the chef to bring you to the table. There is usually a line there, thus I suggest you to visit there after 1pm or before noon if you want do not want to...

前を通りがかったときに行列ができていて、なんとなーく気になったお店。ただあまり行くエリアでもないので〜と思っていましたが、行ってまいりました！ 下落合駅の改札降りたらすぐ！電車の駅としてはあまり利用しませんが、駅からはとても近いアクセスの良さそうなところです。

お邪魔したのは平日の12時40分くらい。行列はなくすぐに入店できました。店内はカウンターのみ6,7席？入ってすぐ左手の券売機があります。

事前に色々調べていましたが、塩のつけ麺が珍しいなーと、紅塩つけ麺（800円）に決定！カウンターの空いているところに座らせていただき食券を渡すと、麺の量を聞かれます。並・中・大が同じ料金なんですね、ということで中盛を。脂は背脂が食べたいなーと思ったので、超こってりをお願いしました。

10分ほど待って着丼。口コミを見ていると提供までは少し時間がかかる、という声が多かったのですが、今回もそうだったかもしれません。でも10分ならそんなに遅いという感じでもないですね。

出てきたつけダレをみてびっくり。やや白濁してますが、たくさんのネギを浮かべているのは透明のつけダレ。中華料理屋さんでチャーハンと一緒に出てくるスープみたい。味するのかしら？？とすこし不安になってスープを啜ってみると、塩！で、こってり！塩なのであっさりなのですが、こってり。とんこつかしら、動物的なスープに強めの塩を効かせたスープ。これはほかでは経験がない味です。麺はつけ麺にしては少し細め。冷やし中華のようなつるりとのどごしの良い麺でした。

食べ進むと少し塩辛さを感じるかも？塩辛い系の味は個人的にあまり得意でもないのですが、塩味が好きな方は好きなのではないかなーと思いました。
