Really nice and thick crab based ramen! They even had a cheap option for a 雑炊セット(rice porridge set) 🤤

The broth is super thick and delicious. The noodles are on the thicker end with an uneven texture, perfect for picking up the thick broth :)

I went with the 油そば which is their “broth-less” option, with the 雑炊セット. The 油そば has some additional buttery topping that added a level of creaminess, and a little bit of some green sauce (not sure what this was 🤷🏽‍♂️). All of the toppings were also really good quality!

The chashu was rare and surprisingly delicious.

  • If you order the 雑炊セット (rice porridge set) Once you’ve finished your noodles, just ask for 雑炊 (zousui). You have an option of small, medium and large portions of rice. This porridge was amazing!!! You get some seaweed and citrus zest (yuzu?) for toppings… so good 🤤

What I loved about the 油そば option is that, you get the stronger thick taste of crab in the 油そば itself. But then, you also get the (also thick) ramen broth in your 雑炊. Best of both worlds! I...

No English menu. I like these types of restaurants better because somehow they taste better. Tried and true. I came here because Ikki is opened late, 2:30am closing time. There was one other customer when I arrived at 12:30am. I picked the first ramen option on the machine for 980 yen with the steamed gyoza and a beer. When you hand over the ramen tickets to the chef, he will ask if you normal or thick noodles. I didn't understand him at first and he said thick or normal? I tonkatsu broth was on the lighter side. On the note card on the table, it explains how you can add different ingredients and sauces at the counter to make it the way you want it. Those items are labeled in Japanese. Luckily, I can read the Chinese characters. At 12:30am, Ikki was a great option. The...

Very delicious ramen, friendly staff, order was up extremely fast, within a few minutes. I ordered the ichiki ramen, assari (second option on the vending machine). It had a very nice rich creamy taste, nice chashu and kikurage on top, plus a soft(ish)boiled egg. I will definitely go back to at least try the kotteri as well.

Staff didn't look to speak English, but frankly we didn't need it. The vending machine is not in English though, so you either need google translate or do some gambling ;)

Definitely recommend...
