Really nice spot. Charcoal espresso roll cake was very tasty but small and was finished within seconds :( Carrot cake was very good but it was a bit difficult to eat because of its shape. I guess it would be easier if they served a knife too. Coffee was very good. The interior is nice. Not the best I have seen but pretty good. They also have wifi and outlets. However, when it's crowded you are limited to 90 minutes. In short, good place. Happy I visited it. If I lived nearby I would come again but not worth a special...

Around 25 seats on the second floor. The first floor is basically a kitchen with lots of coffee equipment. Some extra people could squeeze in on the wall bench, but I didn't find it very comfortable. Current song is "What's left" by Wauter Hamel, but the previous song was a version of "Auld Lang Syne" that I'm sure I've heard somewhere. Going for retro? Wi-Fi and charging available. Kind of complicated menu, so I just settle for the American.

🐻 CROSS POINT（クロスポイント）　の メロンと紅茶のロールケーキ(700円)です。

荻窪駅西口から、 徒歩5分ほどのところにあるカフェ。 2022年オープンで、 芝公園にあるカフェ 「lit coffee & tea stand」の姉妹店です。

お店がある場所は、青梅街道沿い。 近くの通りの交差点や、 3路線がクロスする荻窪駅にちなみ、 「CROSS POINT」と名付けたそう。

2階建ての建物で、 1階は、注文カウンター、 2階がカフェスペースになっています。

席数は、20席ほどあり、 全席コンセント付きで、便利。

ランチ利用できるサンドイッチや、 チーズケーキ、プリンなどの スイーツも人気です。

先に、オーダーと会計を済ませ、 商品は店員さんが運んでくれます。

メロンと紅茶のロールケーキ

米粉と小麦粉を使用した紅茶生地に、 生クリームとメロンが巻いてあります。

香りづけに、アルコールを使用しています。

ふわふわしつつ、しっとりな生地。 米粉独特のきめ細やかさも感じます。

紅茶感はふんわりあっさりめ。 メロンの味を邪魔しない生地に、 仕上がっています。

生クリーム使用で、 コクがしっかりのクリーム。 メロンの青臭さをうまく中和してくれます。

メロンは、時期的にハシリだったので、 少ししゃりっと。 濃すぎない甘さで、 さっぱり、爽やかな味。

つぶつぶしたピスタチオが、 食感のアクセントに。

少しずつ食べようと思ったのに あっという間にぺろり。

酸味を感じるコーヒーとも高相性でした。

姉妹店のlit coffee & tea standより、 内装ががスッキリしているので、 利用しやすい印象。

通いたいカフェがまた増えました。
