Dipgarden TERRACE Ariake Garden — Restaurant in Tokyo

Food indeed was delicious as we tried it before via takeout and were pleased, so today we decided to eat at the restaurant, but unfortunately their service was so horrible our evening was pretty much ruined. We had 2 adults and 1 child in our party, ordered 2 mains and 2 appetizers... basically I ended up eating my main dish by myself as my wife and kid were waiting for their food (my meal was too spicy for them) for nearly 20 minutes. We asked waitress if their meals were ready; to which she said they were coming right away without even checking the status. She obviously lied to us. Rest of the staff remained ignorant and didn't even apologize for the delay. This experience was traumatic; needless to say we will never eat there again. We also noticed other customers were agitaded over long wait times. Hope management company replaced incompetent and unprofessional staff with workers who know how to serve customers with professionalism...

5th day of the opening of Ariake Garden, my family was excited after a long stroll in the mall to get something to eat for lunch...we came up dining at Dipgarden...the place is cozy and staffs are welcoming; the menu are tantalizing as we ordered different kinds of course from the combination of Thai and Indian, waiting time is normal but when we got our food , it was overwhelming with unexpected anticipation that the photos on the menu doesn't match with the actual food served. The taste of the food is a level 1 .... the Muton Curry taste recognizably beef, plain Nan bread is very dry and thin like a paper, that if you throw it in open air, it will fly! ...other orders we had are Thai Pad Thai, soup noodles, combos and very sweet dessert, not healthy further to cause diabetes...not a recommendation to sum-up the meal. We were walking around Ariake Garden Shopping Mall and stumbled upon this place. I am a cheese lover and seeing the cheese naan on their menu, I knew I had to go in and try it.

The cheese naan was delicious! I could rave about it all day. My husband had the regular butter naan and his words were “this is one of the best naans I have ever had.” We are Indian and have tried naan from different restaurants in different countries and have never been this impressed with just naan.

We had already had breakfast earlier, so didn’t try anything else. We really enjoyed our two simple dishes. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly.

If you don’t pop in for anything else, please definitely try the butter and cheese naan. You will not be...
