Dotombori Kamukura - Ariake Garden — Restaurant in Tokyo

I arrived on a Monday just before noon for a quick brunch. I am from the U.S., and my experience with ramen shops in the midwest are limited; but they are tasty nonetheless. Well, my taste buds were treated to a magical experience from this "common" pork ramen dish!

The noodles were springy and fresh, the broth is more of a a fragrant soup with bok choy vegetables and added onions/chives, the pork was delicious with just the right amount of fat....Kamukura knocked it out of the park (MECCHI OISHI)!!! I also added karaage, which was the best I have ever had. The chicken was fresh and juicy, and the fried crust was crunchy and seasoned to perfection. Wow! If Japanese ramen is supposed to be better in its interior, I am in heaven. Right now Kamukura is the standard to beat! To bad I must travel halfway around the world to get it...
