EL‐AMIGO — Restaurant in Tokyo

It’s not authentic Tex-Mex and definitely not authentic Mexican, but the quality isn’t bad at all. The menu also has steaks, hamburgs, other than common “Mexican” items.

Service is fast. But the place also takes reservations and it seems like many regulars book reservations in advance. Despite those people not having arrived yet, the restaurant doesn’t give out the tables to use. But this might also be a way for them to maintain the speed of service and not have too many customers at the same time.

The place has a nice vibe to it with its nice interior and furniture.

This place is a solid 4. It is not the most authentic, but it gets close. The food is well prepared and reasonably priced. The margaritas are excellent. The most disappointing course I sampled was one of the steaks which was not seasoned at all, but was pretty good with salt and...

今日1日で ランチもディナーも両方行きました。

ランチに食べたステーキの写真を撮り忘れましたが…

ステーキは出てきたらすぐに上にのっているバターをステーキの下に入れて 急いでニンニクをステーキに塗って ステーキ醤油をかけるのがミソ。

ここかなり重要だそうで 手早くです。 めっちゃジュージューなって飛び散るので 気をつけてください。

美味しいステーキだったので 225gでしたがペロリと食べてしまいました。 付いてきたサラダもメキシカンサラダで美味しかったです。 フリードリンクもついていました。 ご飯とスープもついて2230円。

夜はアボカドサラダと チップとディップを注文しました。 お昼に見かけたタコライスが食べたかったのですが 夜のメニューにはありませんでした。

またお昼に行って タコライスに挑戦したいです。

夜　隣に座っていた人たちが 30年前から通っていてステーキが美味しいんだよと話していました。

また行きます。 ご馳走さまでした。

2024年　再訪

昔からあるメキシカンなんだけど

ここのイチオシはステーキ！！

あっつあつの鉄板に ジュージューいいながらやってきたら 即！上のバターはステーキの下に入れる。 バターが溶ける間に ニンニクを塗り ほんの少しだけお醤油を垂らす。

最初の10秒が勝負ww

タコスもハンバーグもチリコンカンも ナチョスもどれも定番なんだけど

突然このステーキが食べたい衝動に襲われて 来てしまいます。

チョコレートとモレソースのカレーも 他では食べられない一品。
