#toast 507 — this ricotta French toast is as creamy as it looks without being a little too much “cheese.” it’s a lot of ricotta don’t get me wrong, but it’s a very light and pleasant flavor for ricotta. it would keep you full for a while…

the French toast is nice and soft — easy to cut through and compliments the ricotta cheese well. It stands quite solidly on its own as a dessert toast, but i can see this French toast being used as a nice, staple base for a French toast plate set.

the place itself is a little small so it might get packed, but it’s located in a quieter area of gakudai (near gakudai) and next to a park.

【平日/13:30頃来店】 ■食事は良かった 厚切りのフレンチトーストの卵液は甘すぎず、たっぷり乗ったフロマージュブランのホイップもミルク感は強いが脂肪分の重さを感じにくく、ボリュームの割に軽くて好みだった。ブルーベリーも大粒で◎ 330円で付けられるセット(チーズ2種、ミニサラダ、コーヒーor 紅茶)は内容が良いので続けてほしい。フレッシュなモツァレラが特に美味しかった。(セットなしだとフレンチトースト単品で1100円は高いなぁと感じてしまう…) ■スタッフに問題あり カウンター席に、おそらく前に座っていた人のグラス跡(水たまり)が残っていた。 また、自身が座った場所のテーブルにスマホを置いたら、ガムシロなのかベタベタがスマホ背面に付く始末。完全にテーブルを拭いていない。 プレオープン中とはいえ、席が半分程度しか埋まっていない空いた状況にも関わらず、こんな初歩的なことすら行き届いていないことに驚いた。 テーブルが汚れていることを若い女性スタッフに伝えると拭いてはくれたが、誠意のある謝り方ではなかったので、指導が行き届いていない(もしくは緩い、接客に対する意識が甘すぎる)のだなと改めて感じた。 この界隈には美味しくて接客も行き届いた良いお店がたくさんあるので、接客レベルを甘く見ているとリピート客が減るだろうなぁと感じた。 気になるメニューが他にもあるのでまた足を運ぶ予定だが、スタッフの対応が悪いとどんなに美味しいお店でも以降は行きたくなくなるので、次回来店時はスタッフの対応によって嫌な思いをすることがないことを願う。 ■その他 カウンターの奥行が狭すぎる。 お皿が少しはみ出るほど狭い。 カウンターを広げるかお皿の形を変えるかした方が食べやすくなると思う。 −−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−− ■追記 そういえば… 私はてっきりDEAN&DELUCAがリニューアルするものだと思い、オープン日を楽しみにしていました。 オープン初日に店の前を通ると違う店舗名だったので、外にいた店員に「以前のDEAN&DELUCAと同じ会社が運営しているんですか？」と聞くと、「違います！」とハッキリ言われました。 その後ネットで調べると同じ運営会社…。 わからないなら「確認します」と伝えて、わかる人に聞きに行けば良いだけのこと。それをせずに、その場しのぎで間違った内容を平気で伝えてくるなど、あってはならないことでは？ 客をなめていると思われても仕方がないと思います。
