We are on our honeymoon in Japan. A friend in Tokyo recommended we eat at Diyafa, we’re so glad she did!

The food was amazing, very traditional and the service was phenomenal. If you’re visiting Tokyo and looking for nice way to try authentic sukiyaki - this place is perfect! There are instructions in both English and Japanese which we appreciated. The sukiyaki was delicious - we have no clue what the leafy green was - but it was delicious! The mushrooms and other vegetables were delicious and of course, the beef was very high quality.

The owner also prepared a special starter for us in honor of our honeymoon. He was so kind and a wonderful host.

We are not Muslim, but we don’t eat pork (turns out there’s a lot of pork in Japanese food) so it was really nice to enjoy a meal without having to worry about that.

The meal ends with a matcha lesson which was a lot of fun! The owner shows you how to make matcha and then you make your own. I have never really liked matcha much, but this one I enjoyed!!

(also make sure to walk and see the Tokyo Tower lit up...

An Unforgettable Culinary Experience!

We visited Halal SUKIYAKI Restaurant Diyafa, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Japan. The restaurant serves top-quality Wagyu beef, which you cook yourself at the table on a personal burner. Fresh vegetables simmer in a flavorful broth, and you dip thin slices of beef into it. Once cooked, you dip the meat into raw egg and enjoy it with rice — a simple yet incredibly refined taste.

The experience doesn’t end there. For dessert, the waitress personally guided us through the preparation of a traditional Japanese treat, adding a special, interactive touch. Finally, we were treated to a live demonstration of matcha tea ceremony, beautifully presented and full of cultural depth.

This was more than just a meal — it was a journey through Japanese flavors and hospitality. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for a truly authentic and immersive...

Amazing launch Experience! I recently visited Halal SUKIYAKI restaurant and was absolutely blown away by the entire experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations.

The food was nothing short of spectacular—every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I enjoyed the dish and the dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. The attention to detail in both the food and service truly sets this restaurant apart.

I can’t wait to return and try more of their menu. Highly recommend Halal SUKIYAKI restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable...

I had a great dining experience at Halal SUKIYAKI Restaurant DIYAFA! So much for the name, the hospitality surely was memorable. The traditional seating added an authentic touch to the atmosphere, making it feel like a true cultural experience. The customer service was exceptional. It’s fantastic that they cater to the Muslim audience, providing delicious halal options. My wife had the opportunity to make a Matcha drink, which was such a pleasant and memorable experience. A special thanks to the waiter, whose attentiveness made the meal even more enjoyable, and to the chef for the outstanding food. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food, service, and a unique experience!
