Located by the side of the alleyway with the look of a modern style bar/cafe, this Chinese restaurant immediately caught my curiosity about what kind of dishes they serve.
There were no other customers besides us when we visited, which made sense given the rainy weather, but we were kindly greeted and seated at a table.
We were asked to place orders using our phone by scanning their QR code, which links to their online ordering system, allowing us to send and track the total cost of our orders.
The food overall tasted good at reasonable prices. We ordered their original soup dumplings and shumai dumplings, which tasted great with juicy content and firm wraps. Their "Very Spicy Mapo Tofu" wasn't as spicy as I expected but tasted great with a generous amount of Sansho peppers.
One minor critique of the restaurant would be its humidity within the dining hall. Considering the summer season and the rainy weather during our visit, the restaurant wasn't well-ventilated enough and the air conditioner was barely on (at the very least I couldn't feel any cool air). Under these conditions, eating spicy foods like their Mapo Tofu became a minor hassle, though it was endurable.
I also felt the staff seemed eager to clear plates, which might feel rushed for diners who prefer to take their time. The waitress took away the Mapo Tofu dish even when some of its sauce still remained, which I wasn't bothered much about but wanted to savor at the very end. Perhaps they have a policy to clear dishes as soon as they appear finished.
We didn't try them, but the place had a wide selection of authentic Chinese teas for tasting, serving tea leaves that probably aren't usually available in other establishments, so this might be a good option as well.
Criticisms aside, the restaurant/bar overall offers good Chinese meals and a fair selection of beverages with a cozy atmosphere, fit for a casual evening dining experience. I would consider returning to try their tea selection and explore more of their menu for a...

Their specialization is dimsum, but they also serve Taiwanese tea in beautiful dishes. Lunches are especially recommended here because they are children friendly and inexpensive compared...
