Went for late lunch on a holiday, and there was a but of a line, as expected. We didn’t have to wait too long to get in though, and the food was definitely worth the wait too.
Had the spicy tsukemen, but the level of spiciness was very mild. In fact, in my forst two slurps, I didn’t even taste the spiciness at all. It was still bery good, with just the right level of saltiness and a somewhat creamy taste to the broth. The noodles were on the chewier side, which I enjoyed very much.
They also serve other noodle dishes and some rice toppings, but the tsukemen can get a free upgrade of the volume of noodles. While eating, you can ask for a hot stone to add to your broth if your broth turns cold. The noodles are thick and chewy, served with chicken & pork chashu, thick tasty menma and soft boiled egg (for the special version).
