We have been curious about this place for the longest time. From the outside, it seems like a ceramic store but it’s actually a quaint Japanese restaurant.
Yesterday, we found out that the chef owner is from Mashiko and I guess that explains all the ceramics around the restaurant.
We opted for the 7 dish course and a sake set so we could enjoy dinner without having to make decisions and that was definitely a good choice!
I always have a soft spot for places that take so much pride in the source of their ingredients and share where every single meat, fish, vegetable and rice comes from, it really makes the entire experience so much more pleasurable.
Every single dish was excellent and flavourful. Special mention goes to the tempura eggplant - it was sweet and had a caramelised taste to it, very good!
The dishes changes everyday depending on the ingredients the chef gets for the day, so be prepared for a surprise every time you go.

とにかく、出汁が旨いです! カツオ枯れ節、宗田カツオ節、サバ節、エビ、アサリを使っているそうですが、色々な素材の旨味がどれも過剰に主張することなく、程よく重なっている印象。
具が別盛りになっているのが洒落ていますね。 どれもこだわりのありそうな具ばかりですが、鴨肉がこれまた柔らかくてミディアムレアな感じが旨味を引き立てます。
