A little piece of Denmark (my home), in Tokyo.

Many of the breads and pastries are legit, compared to danish bakeries. It even feels a lot like a danish bakery. (Aside from the style of things being wrapped in plastic and you grabbing stuff on a tray - in Denmark it's usually a service counter where you ask for what you want).

Cute little bakery! Stopped by and was surprised by the wide selection. Loved the danishes. They were surprisingly super flaky and chewy inside and the cream was not too sweet. The old lady working there is super nice too. I also bought a Danish yogurt bar and it was decently priced! 150yen. You know some places mark up foreign food by a lot but this...

After we tried the chocolate horn we had to go back the next day. The almond croissant and raspberry danish were just as good. Everything is perfect. You can taste the butter. We are going to go here every day until we leave Tokyo.

前から気になっていたお店。 こじんまりとしたお店にデンマークの国旗。 平日の12時ちょい過ぎ。すでに売り切れのものがチラホラ… 予習してこなかったので、何を買ったらいいのか迷子。。 見た目はみんなおんなじ感じだし、プライスカードはだいたい○○ペストリーか、○○デンマークのお食事パン(涙) のちのち調べたら、ペストリーってデニッシュとかパイのことなんですね。 お惣菜系があんまりなかったので、ミートのペストリーとかアップルシナモン、レーズンやチョコレートのペストリーと、お食事パンを何個かチョイス。 おばぁちゃんにお会計をしてもらったのですが、9個も買ったのに1,500円。。マジかよ、やっす。 腹ペコぷー吉だったので、車ですぐに食べたけどびっくり！ 1枚1枚の生地の層からバターがジュワ！ 外はパリパリなのに、中はしっとり。 具材が少ないかなと思いきや、甘めの具なのでこれくらいがちょうどいい。 なにより、バター感強めなのに全然重くない。。いっぱい食べてしまうやんか笑 車の中がいい香りー(o・ω・o) 夜は、シチューとドイツのお食事パン。 こちらも、パイ生地のような感じだけれど甘さがないので香ばしくておいしい。 お買い物してるときに、近所のおじさんらしき人がふらふらーと入ってきて今日は○○パンもう終り？って聞いてた。 こんなに安くておいしいパン屋さんがご近所だなんて、うらやまし過ぎる…
