Ok so this place absolutely does not have New York style bagels. I'm not even certain I'd call half of these things bagels. HOWEVER, they're tasty.
They have 3 types of bagels, basically fluffy, chewy and dense. If you like real bagels, skip the fluffy ones. The chewy ones and the dense ones are both good texture, closer to New York style, despite the almost roll-like shape.
They have a bunch of flavors. At first I was let down because it was clear that I would not be getting my chewy New York everything bagel, toasted with veggie cream cheese, cucumbers, sprouts, and whatever else I want on it. But, they had some interesting Japanese flavors, like anchovy (which sounded a bit gross but was really tasty, almost like a seafood cream cheese), matcha and red bean, or my favorite which was the gouda and bacon.
The picture is not good, but the texture and flavor were delicious.
So, you can't get bagel sandwiches here. Most of their bagels are stuffed so not really sandwich material anyway, more like flavored buns with a bagel texture.
They have no dine-in and no customization of anything.
They have lines, but not unbearable. Line out the door up the stairs, about 10-15 people lined up outside. Took about 20 minutes to get in.

   Read moreThere are always lines here but itâs worse on weekend. I waited for about an hour on Sunday. The shop sells Japanese-style bagels which are drastically different from NY or Montreal style bagels. Regardless, their butter/red bean paste bagel is my favorite. Just right ratio of butter and red bean paste. In addition, their red bean stuffed matcha bagel is also my go-to.
