Decided to try Jim Din Rou which seems like a Din Tai Fung competitor after watching a movie at Lalaport Toyosu. Located right next to the cinema, this restaurant almost always has a waiting time to be seated.
Service is quick, food quality and choices are decent. The xiao long bao (soup dumplings) were really good and cheaper than Din Tai Fung which could keep us coming back. Their tantan men and fried rice were decent but could have done with a bit more richness...

We have dumplings of every variety. Excellent kids meal for our toddler. Soup dumplings so delicious our picky 7yr old devoured them. Wife and I had entrees of Dan Dan noodles and Rice with mushrooms. Service- amazing. Food - incredible....
