I attended The Roots’ live performance on December 27 at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo, and it was an incredible experience. This was my sixth time seeing them live, but the excitement of watching one of my favorite bands in a foreign country made it feel like the first time all over again.
The venue was definitely worth the hype, offering an intimate yet dynamic space that complemented the energy of the performance. While purchasing tickets in advance was slightly complicated for American visitors, we managed to secure them, which was well worth the effort.
Upon arrival, the entry process was a bit confusing, particularly with the unexpected requirement to purchase a 500¥ drink token at the door. However, the staff and attendees quickly adapted, and the lines eventually sorted themselves out. Once inside, the system of grabbing a drink and heading into the concert room worked smoothly.
The sound quality and atmosphere at Toyosu PIT were phenomenal, enhancing The Roots’ legendary performance. For anyone considering attending a concert here, I’d say it’s absolutely worth the trip—just make sure to plan ahead for tickets and the entry process. This was a night I’ll...
Read moreI recently attended Tate McRae's concert, and while her performance was absolutely amazing, the venue experience was not. This surprise charge forced me to run to the ATM to get enough cash for myself and my daughter, causing us to miss the first 30 minutes of the show. I don't mind paying the fee, but it should have been clearly stated in advance. This oversight was frustrating and disappointing, especially as it impacted my daughter's experience. Proper notice could have prevented this inconvenience. I don’t want to but I know other customer had the same experience. Some people maybe younger and out of country so they would be...
Read moreGood concert venue. Many lockers outside and inside to put your belongings. Be aware, there's a mandatory beverage charge when you enter the venue, which is 600¥. Entering the venue is confusing.. don't know exactly where to queue and they call out people to enter by, it seems like tickets number. But no previous information on the system works. There is a specific line to enter for people who purchased their tickets on English friendly website. For that, you would need to show an ID to enter. Inside the venue, all standing, you better be tall enough to see the stage. There's no screen. The sound is decent. The closest main train station to access the venue, is Toyosu station, which is 10/15...
