Kashiwa Futako Tamagawa RISE — Restaurant in Tokyo

Had the 人気 (popular) set for lunch and it was well worth the price. They require at least 2 people and the whole course takes around 1 hour.

*The picture posted here shows the portion for 4 people. The first dish is Caesar salad with chicken. I would say the dressing is pretty standard for a Caesar salad. It was good with a good mixture of veggies (different kinds of root vegetables) and a good amount of chicken.

The second dish was fried chicken with some egg like creamy sauce (forgot to take a photo). The chickens were crispy and paired well with the cream sauce.

Third was the mush room dish. They cooked the mushrooms quite well and the mushrooms were seasoned nicely with salt.

Last dish was the Okonomiyaki. Out of all the dishes, I found this one to be the least favorite. The sauce didn't have the right blend of flavors and nothing really stood out of the dish.

I also got the Matcha Tiramisu desserts (not included in the set). It was pretty good and I'd say was a good way to finish the meal.

Overall I think this place was solid but not really special. The 人気 set was good value given the portion we received but the taste was just decent. Service and atmosphere...

Compared to common Okonomiyaki places you can find, this place actually serves an unique taste. Instead of porks or other common toppings, they serve chicken as a topping. I founs this unique because I could feel the texture was different obviously with the normal okonomiyaki. Furthermore, the ginger taste in okonomiyaki feels hitting your tongue.

The meal also came with a chicken soup. I also ordered yaki soba but it was just okay nothing special.

Although people say it's bad, I considered it as quite decent restaurant if you want to find okonomiyaki restaurant around...

We were a group of 8 and i ordered the okonomiya ( it was written) but when we tried to eat it was chicken meat with cheese and found a lot of hard meat inside we didnt eat at all its not good.
