On the Opera Street just above Keio Hatsudai Station, here this branch coffee shop of Japan’s third biggest café franchise chain, CO:HI:KAN, is now COFFEE-KAN (well, no difference 😏) under a new investing owner. The coffee is fine (got better from “ok” recently), the staff is polite and friendly with spotless services. Having said that this café is slightly more expensive than the other cheap cafés, its morning sets are reasonable enough. You can be more relaxed and time go slower in the back of the shop.

Very simple and cozy coffee shop with good value for money morning specials. For about 800 yen you can get a coffee and either a hot dog or some cheesey corn toast, which is a nice combo. The food was okay, but the service was notably fantastic. The staff here are all incredibly nice and friendly. The shop has a 2 hour limit and a no phone calls/meeting calls rule.

Love the pancakes, very fluffy. Serving with strawberry (a seasonal fruit), feeling very satisfying especially for those with cravings for sweet stuff. We were there for our brunch, the staff are nice. The ice coffee is also very nice to give me a morning boost. We stayed there for a while to do some readings.

We went here for breakfast every day in our 5 day stay in Tokyo as the hotel was just around the corner

During my stay in Tokyo (20 days) I almost always went here for breakfast and sometimes lunch when I was in a rush. It’s a very lovely and cute little cafe with great affordable prices for the size portion of the meals you get. The staff is also extremely nice and always greet you with a nice and honest smile.
