This place is now sentimental. We lived down the street from this gem while living in Tokyo. If you know what to order, you will leave on a cloud of sheer content and joy. Nothing beats our usual order of white sesame tantan ramen (i could have bowls of this broth alone) with that amazing tamago. The best cucumber and garlic and a 6 piece gyoza plate to start along with a cold crisp pint of beer. If youre not too hungry their tantan and small rice bowl is perfection, so is their selection of starters plate. Service was spot on, we miss the guys there! Heaven on a cold wintery day. Can't wait to be back soon.

I’ve walked by here many times on my way to my dog’s vet, and was always intrigued by the delicious pictures of the menu on the store front, so today i decided to try it out. Happy to report that the “mountain chicken curry cutlet rice” was just as delicious as the pictures on the store front looked. This dish is legitimately spicy, very much so for japanese tastes, and even spicy for someone that eats legit thai and indian at a level 5 spice level. But the keema curry is very tasty, the chicken was nice and moist, and the portion was very large. Will definitely come back to try more on the menu.

I definitely agree with the most recent review at the time of writing this when they say that the service is very “business-like”. It’s not bad, but they definitely keep it short and simple. My friend really enjoyed the soy-sauce based ramen, while my salt based ramen was a little bland. We were assigned to the seat right next to the door, which was a little cold during winter, as the slide door couldn’t entirely block the wind.
