DAY & NIGHT — Restaurant in Tokyo

Small dining experience with HUGE Flavors! Had lunch here a few days ago and WOW! Sandwich awesome! We had the Shrimp Po'boy and the Pull Pork sandwich with Marmalade. It was epic, we will be visiting this restaurant very often especially to try out the other sandwiches. It does get busy so make sure you're either early for lunch or late but even then still expect a line. When you first walk in you see how little space the cooks have to work with but what comes out of the kitchen is impeccable. The Onion rings were perfectly fried, not soggy or oily. The Fried potatoes were also really, really good...just add a little ketchup. We had the lemonade (it is required to get a drink at lunch time) and we were very surprised because typically at Japanese restaurants that we've been to the lemonade very sweet and a little watered down, might be the type of lemons that they use. But not Day & Night! Great lemonade, which made the experience that much better. Thanks Guys and compliments...

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My boyfriend and I were visiting from the states when we came across this cute cafe. Our waitress was Rumiko and I am unsure of the other gentleman’s name that was working there, he was the cook. Rumiko was so wonderful! She spoke very good English, had amazing service and we had lovely conversation with her. The food of course was amazing! Plated very very well, kudos to our cook (he did not speak English well but tried his best! He even recommended some bars and such to visit in our next destination, Yokohama) We will definitely be returning here the next time we are in Tokyo, not just for the great food and atmosphere the cafe provides, but for the amazing staff! Reminded me of stuff I can make at home 😗 expect loved the presentation 😙 The raspberries were still a bit frozen

The banana 🍌 actually was the stand out of the dish. I’m still thinking of that banana 🍌🤤

I usually get full from these but I left still hungry 😅

Loved the vibe tho. Felt like a small diner back in the USA or even Europe English music playing

huge negative? And perhaps it’s a cultural difference. That being the coffee only 60% full 😨

Huge bad first impression right there. It’s similar to giving someone a middle ☝️ letting them know they are NOT welcomed (maybe use a smaller ☕️cup)
