Le Cabaret — Restaurant in Tokyo

I live in Yoyogi Uehara so I can tell exactly how it works with this place - they have a great atmosphere, which is why I think they attract lots of clientele. However, the customer service is really bad and the quality of food and wine is completely off compared to its prices. Wine was probably the worst one I had in a long time. Fancy French cuisine in a fancy area. Restaurant itself is quite small, no more than 20 people but this gives a cosy and local atmosphere which is a plus. Staff are very fashionable and kind, service is great. Price was 15000yen with male and female couple, 4 dishes and 4wines so it’s not cheap but not bad for the quality they serve. One down side is that the wine they served wasn’t excellent. Overall we would like to come back again for a slow and relaxed date...

Nice little place. The steak was delicious, the fish was nice but the garlic was a little burnt so it gave it a bitter taste, wasn’t that bad tho. Unfortunately it was full of bones, too many. The potatoes were also 10/10. However the antre salad, no matter how they call it, was raw mushrooms with olive oil. Thank god for the delicious bread that came with it.
