I like the simplicity of the interior; it's spacious, accommodates customers with kids in pushchairs, and yet the solo customer can still find a private spot to sip their coffee. I echo what other reviewers have mentioned about the customer service. The first time I came here after a hike, there was only one or two other customers in the shop. I wasn't sure about the procedure of whether it's wait to be directed to a seat, freely grab a seat first or order first, nor was I given any guidance, and was merely glanced at, without a smile nor a greeting of acknowledgement. The coffee was good, and the matcha cake that I got instead of the carrot cake I wanted as it was sold out, was good, too, so I decided to come back for the carrot cake sometime. The second time, I received the same reception and got the carrot cake, which was a little dry and did not live up to expectations.
