5 stars for effort and a great start!
This review is a mix of hits+ and misses- and mixes +/-
It has a pretty relaxing and cozy atmosphere. The customers at the bar/counter can see the open kitchen which has a nice pizza oven.
Customers seem to enjoy and I overheard some of them saying how delicious the food was. They also play some good music.
I ordered red bean ahijo, porcini tagliatelle and a glass of sparkling wine. Everything seems large, they're generous with the shrimp, bread and even the pasta. I didn't order pizza but I saw that it is good enough for 2-3 people.
/+ There were spelling mistakes on the menu and I mentioned this to one of the servers. He immediately grabbed a pen and asked me to correct them politely.
They gave me an oshibori (hot towel) about 10 minutes after I was seated.
The server at the bar was using his phone, saw this happened twice. He's got good pizza dough skills though.
Staff accidentally dropped some utensils including a wine glass. But I told myself, "C'mon Grace give them a break, they're working hard!"
One of the servers proactively offered water and asked for my last order. They also asked me what I thought of the food I ordered.
They all seem very busy so no one is slacking off which is a good thing.
Overall, I had a great time! The service and food were above par so I'm definitely coming back and trying other dishes!
This Italian restaurant opened recently. It's about a 2-minute walk from the station (I have short legs) I came to the restaurant...
Read moreOrdered the pasta with mushroom, they were really good and the portion that seemed small at first was enough. The glass of white wine was a disappointment though, totally overpriced. The pizza looked delicious and they have a real pizza oven.
It took quite a while to have a staff letting me in even though there were a lot of open seats. I was about to leave for another restaurant after 5 min without being acknowledged. That doesn’t give a good...
Read moreTold me it was 150 yen extra charge for the take out pizza box. This was after eating in.
Why not increase the price of the pizza instead of telling the customer and making the experience feel so cheap?
I’ve been going there for many years and just canceled my order and walked out (lunch and glass of wine, and then a take out pizza for home) after telling me the box was an extra cost. They...
