It was a half-business trip to a nearby university (at Minami Osawa but there was no hotel there). The location is really convenient : closest to Chofu station with lots of shops restaurants. The hotel is 8-10 floors of Parco shopping center which has many useful shops restaurants supermarket from which you can use elevator directly to your room floor at 9th or 10th. The room is old but mine was essentially clean and fine (except just a few tiny spots). There was a desk and desk lamp, good for some work to do. The breakfast was quite good and cost efficient. Cons: 1. When you visit the front at 8th floor you cannot use stairway, only elevator. Since the elevator is often shared with the whole building it can take time during business hours. Soundproof is not good and if there's noise in the hallway you can hear it. In fact the staff made some noise even around 6:30am...
Read moreI have been at this hotel for the last two weeks. I am here for work west of Chofu, but from here it's an easy train ride. It's also really convenient to get into the main areas of Tokyo, as the Keio line connects directly to Shinjuku station from here. The hotel is right across the square from the Chofu station of the Keio line, so it's really easy.||||The rooms are clean and much more spacious than I was expecting from everything I heard about Japan before I came here. The staff is really helpful, and they speak English well enough for basic communication. Breakfast is pretty good.||||The hotel is also on the top three floors of a shopping mall. There are about a million restaurants in the surrounding few blocks, but of course in Tokyo that's the case everywhere. Either way, if I end up coming back to work in this area again I will without doubt be staying at this...
Read moreWe came for a conference in nearby university. The hotel looked old, very 80’s decor, but kept very clean, and neat. Everything you will need was there, except the internet connection was lousy. So we did our business/networking mostly in the university’s conference center. The hotel is on the top floors of a commercial building, therefore you can do department store shopping downstairs, and grocery shopping including all sorts of bento s, lunch or dinner, in the basement floor. Outside the hotel is bus stop and train station, so the transportation, for example to Tokyo, Narita or Haneda airports are super convenient, even the keio express bus is right there at the bus stop. We would go back there for its location, courteous staff,...
