🇺🇸🇯🇵Owner speaks English! The menu is only in Japanese, but it's straightforward.
👍Overall, it was a nice pizzeria! Not far from the Jujo shopping street and a taiyaki shop with thick taiyaki next door, I'd recommend it to someone in the area, but there is limited seating.
🗽Definitely New York, not Italian, style. This pizza was foldable-holdable. The crust had a nice texture and elasticity-level for New York style.
🥫One thing I really liked is the tomato sauce was not sweet! Many New York pizza shops in Tokyo do the sweet style sauce, which I am personally not a fan.
💴I got 2 slices, which ran me ¥700-something. Not bad!
🍕The pepperoni wasn't spicy, so I don't think it's legitimate pepperoni. I get the sense it's some other type of sliced sausage. But it tasted fine anyway.
🍄🟫The mushroom spinach pizza was nice! Although funashimeji (?) mushrooms aren't the typical mushroom for pizzas, it probably makes a lot of sense cost-wise in Japan, and I think they really worked well!
🧂The only condiment was Tabasco sauce, they even have packets to take out, but no garlic, red pepper, oregano, etc.
🪑The shop itself is bright, with a few benches outside and one table inside. So not a lot of seating. I sat at one of the outside benches and he opened the window a few times to talk to me, hehe.
🥡They have to-go pizza boxes, but with my 2 slices, they gave it them to me each on their own plate in inside a paper, stacked in a plastic bag. It would be fine to carry on the train but don't put it in your backpack! Hehe.
🍦They also have vanilla ice cream which comes with a cookie, and you can get 2 types of waffle cones or a cup.

💴💳They take cash, card, PayPay, and QuicPay.

Read moreThe pizza is tasty. The ice cream is fantastic, and the scenery is cute. What more could you ask for? Can confirm that the owner speaks English, but the Japanese labels on pizza slices can be easily translated with phone apps for international visitors. The shop is right next to Jujo station, and it was fun to travel on a train adventure to see this place. There is a Wing connection there. It had to be done.
Either way, very happy with my pizza selection. Nice crust and toppings. I am an oregano fan, so I would have liked that addition. FYI, the establishment is designed to be a take-out facility, so there isn't much in terms of inside seating. There are a few benches outside, and when the weather is nice, taking in the atmosphere with a fresh, hot slice and a marvelous ice cream cone makes for a...
Read moreGreat pizza! The pepperoni was my favorite. The staff was very friendly and nice. There isn't much in the way of seating once you get your pizza, but I was able to sit down at a nearby park and eat it there. I loved the mascots! Honestly, I would've bought some merchandise with one...
