Lovely restaurant in the basement of a mall that my sister and I happened to come across while looking for a place to grab dinner. We were seated right away, and our server was incredibly cordial as she patiently handed us an English menu and explained the options. My sister ordered their famous donkatsu and I ordered a bowl of hot soup (cannot recall the name). The donkatsu came with sesame seeds and a sauce that she poured herself, making it a fun and interactive experience. It tasted perfectly crisp and was the best one my sister had during our entire trip in Tokyo. My soup was savory and smooth, warming up my insides immediately. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant to tourists and locals alike, for the excellent food, cordial service, and inviting yet quiet atmosphere.

この店は近いので2ヶ月に一度程度行くレベルですが利用した際には、一番高い金額のとんかつは注文させてもらっていますが、売上に貢献できていない客の者です。今日は久しぶりにとんかつでも食べようと立ち寄りました。店内の空席は半分近くで4名掛けのテーブルはパッと見ると6席以上空いている状況でした。私達は2名で行き荷物を多く持っている。4名掛けの席に1名で食べている方もいるのに、2名掛けの席へ通させる。その席まで案内してくれたウェイトレスに隣りの4名掛けに変更できるか確認したがコチラでと2名掛けを指定されました。やむを得ず2名掛けの席が狭いので一旦、荷物を椅子に置き、どうやって席に座ろうかと考えているところ、ウェイトレスは早くメニューを出そうと背中越しでプレッシャー。機械的で思いやりや配慮の無い、ダサいサービスでした。結局気持ちが乗らず、とんかつを食べる気を失い、食べずに店は出ることにしました。同じフロアの他の店で食事を済ませ、帰り掛けにこの店の前を通り店内を確認しましたが、私達が指定された2名掛けに新しいお客様が入っていて、更に店内のテーブルは空席になっていました。こんなにテーブル空いているならと、、、。正直何度か利用させてもらってますが、従業員は調理の方含めて常駐で8名ほどいますが、とんかつを出してしまったあと食べている途中で店内のお客様が何を欲しているかなんて、ほとんどの店員が全く目配りしていない。楽しくスタッフ同士でおしゃべり。こんな低サービスのとんかつ屋は東京オペラシティーのレストラン街には入るべきでない。こんなホスピタリティ精神の行き届いていないサービスを容認している社長の顔が見たい。普通のさぼてんより名前は立派だか食とサービスの総合評価的に高級感は全く感じられない。とんかつを食べたいと思ったら、この程度の味で同じ値段で食べられるとんかつ屋は他にもたくさんある。とんかつさえ提供してさえいれば、お客様への付加価値となるサービスはどうでもいいと思っているのか？、そんな社員教育の行き届いていないこんな店より、もっといいお店は必ずあると思う。私は金輪際、このとんかつ屋に...
