We were having a bad day until we found this restaurant. The staff were so kind in answering our questions, so we had to give it a try. I had been looking for katsudon to eat in Tokyo all trip, so of course I ordered it and it was amazing. My wife had curry and it was also perfect. The staff were patient with our Japanese, friendly, and kind. They were cheerful older ladies who made the visit really great. And the food looked, smelled, and tasted wonderful. If I lived nearby, I'd be in trouble because I would be eating there daily. In fact, we made the trip all the way back to LaLaPort just to let our friend try it, too. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. It's also located in a great shopping center that's relaxing and easy to wander around in to work off the calories...
Read moreHad a very satisfying meal at this restaurant. We order the anniversary set, asaki set as well as the sabo-red. Sabo red was on the fatty side. The rest was to our liking. The meal starts off shredded cabbage and sesame seeds. Add sesame salad sauce to the cabbage. Separately grind the sesame seed to your liking with the add the Tonkatsu sauce into it. Mix well then drizzle it on your pork cutlet. Shredded cabbage, rice and soup are refillable, just ordered it...
Read moreI’m not sure if it was the 20 minutes waiting in line during the lunch rush, or the 30 minutes we spent waiting for our food once we finally ordered, or the screaming children, but I’m not sure the tonkatsu was worth it today.
This place is very popular with families with young children during lunch, so be prepared to wait.
