Saizeriya — Restaurant in Tokyo

Today my husband and I wanted to eat some simple near 東陽町駅, so we came to this family restaurant that every Japanese is familiar with.

The entrance is a bit hidden, next to a hotel, then need to walk down the stairs, and it’s bigger than we thought. There were quite a lots of people there, but we didn’t need to wait.

We ordered Spinach, pepperoni pizza, snails, grilled chicken thigh and Cheese Doria. We didn’t need to wait for long, but we always love to do the little game that is on the kid’s menu while we wait for our food.

Their spinach is something I always order, always tastes good. The pepperoni pizza was good too, the crust is too thick for me, but my husband enjoyed it. The snails are delicious, another dish that we always ordered. The grilled chicken thigh with salsa was very juicy and soft, still can’t believe how much it cost only. The Cheese doria was very creamy and cheesy, looks small but actually very filling.

Saizeriya is a good place for having affordable Italian food while in Tokyo. It may not be the best, but it’s good enough for a decent meal.
