Apr 2025 - a new ramen on menu that I tried negi cha syuu men. Simple tasty soup and lots of leeks (negi). Seasoned with la yuu ? A hint of chilly red but was fine with my sensitive membrane in mouth.
One of my favourite lunch spot. Crowded at peak hours. Friendly staffs. Tsukemen, shio ramen are my favourite.
If you like the soup, extra (sort of diluting as it is salty as is) can be requested if liked, usually after finishing ramen, then enjoy the soup.

Read moreWent for lunch mid week but usually go on the weekends. The shio ramen (salt based broth) is delicious. With a slight seafood tasting broth nothing is overpowering yet not too bland / boring - they mix seafood, niboshi (fish) and chicken broths. The hint of yuzu is there but v v mild. Their wontons today were good (better than the other times we had it in the past 3 odd years we've been going here).
Evenings they have diff options. Shoyu ramen is ok but shio is our favourite. The jiro style of ramen is too heavy for us. Had shoyu wonton...

I’m a big fan of gyokai tsukemen (fish broth) so I came to try their house special: Setagaya Tsukemen.
