Shimazu — Restaurant in Tokyo

Shimazu 島津 is a sushi restaurant located in Shirakanedai that is famous for its exceptionally delicious cuisine, and it is also a restaurant that is extremely difficult to make reservations. Luckily, my mom’s friend is a regular customer here and coincidentally she also made a reservation for tonight, so she invited my mom and I to eat together. My mom and I are so lucky to be able to experience the most difficult restaurants to make reservations in Tokyo without making a reservation.

Each piece of sushi is carefully prepared and the order of the plates is arranged perfectly, making me feel like I have just read a touching short story. The ingredients are fresh and extremely delicious, the vinegar in the rice enhances the flavor of the ingredients.

The variety of nigiri dishes they have researched is amazing. Both my mother and I enjoyed the sweet Kitayori scallops bought directly from the farm, Daisuke’s soy–marinated eggs with a salmon roe flavor, and the early summer tuna with a crispy layer of fat. Of all the sushi I’ve had, this is definitely the restaurant that takes the top spot. I was impressed from start to finish. From the sardines, yellowfin tuna to horse mackerel, everything was delicious.

Not only the food but also the hospitality is great. This is one of the best restaurants that I can think of when I want to go to a good sushi place. The chef and owner Mr. Yukichika is meticulous to every little detail. This was observed in the way he prepared the food and how everything was neatly arranged before serving to the guests. The omakase went very well and the service was top–notch.

喧騒から離れて、ゆっくり美味しいお寿司を味わいたい時にぴったりのお店。 外観は控えめだけど、店内は清潔感があって、カウンターの席も広めで落ち着いた雰囲気。

おまかせはどのネタも新鮮で、産地の説明も丁寧。 中でも、佐渡産のマグロは感動的な美味しさで、思わずネギトロを追加注文してしまいました。 美味しいネタがたくさんあったのに、食べるのに夢中でほとんど写真を撮り忘れました…笑 それくらい集中してしまう、幸せな時間でした。

実は今回、グルメな友人の“予約チャンス”に便乗してやっと訪問👍 家が近くてお店の前は何度も通っていたけど、入ってみて「やっぱり人気なのには理由があるな」と実感しました。

お値段は安くはないけど、味もサービスも笑顔も含めて、すべてに納得😊 白金らしい落ち着きと丁寧さを感じられる、また訪れたい素敵なお寿司屋さんです。

도쿄 시로카네의 조용한 골목에 숨어 있는 스시집. 겉보기엔 소박하지만, 안으로 들어가면 깔끔하고 차분한 분위기. 카운터 좌석 간격도 넓어서 정말 편하게 식사할 수 있었어요. 예약이 어려워서 못 가보다가 이번에 미식가 친구 덕분에 처음 방문할 수 있었어요.

가격은 저렴하다고는 할 수 없지만, 맛도, 서비스도, 셰프님의 따뜻한 미소까지 모두 납득이 가는 만족스러운 경험이었습니다. 조용하고 품격 있는 시로카네 분위기를 제대로 느낄 수 있는 멋진 스시집이에요. 꼭 다시 가고 싶습니다👍👍👍

A hidden sushi spot tucked away in a quiet street of Shirokane, Tokyo. From the outside it looks modest, but once you step inside, it’s clean, calm, and the atmosphere feels refined. The counter seats are well spaced, making it really comfortable to enjoy the meal. It’s usually hard to get a reservation, but this time, thanks to a foodie friend, I was finally able to visit👍

The price isn’t cheap, but the quality, the service, and the chef’s warm smile made it all completely worth it😊 It was a truly satisfying dining experience.
