Starbucks Coffee - Otsuka Station — Restaurant in Tokyo

Clean but tiny little Starbucks in great location opposite Otsuka Station. Because of its location and limited seating it is always busy and full and not the best place to relax. 本日の夕方利用しました。 タイミングなのかレジが並んでいました。店内がとても狭いのですぐ入り口の外まで列ができちゃうのですが、まあ接客がとんでもなかったです。

問題はレジの若い男性と黒エプロンの男性との2人。

若い男性はレジ台に残っていたお客さんのスマホを渡し席まで行ってたのですが、上から目線で「スマホ」って感じで渡してました。笑顔なんてありません。無表情です。ビックリしました。私が来る前に何かあったのかもしれませんが。

そしてもう1人の黒エプロンの男性。この方がレジで応対してくれたのですが…。リワードが貯まったのでドリンクチケットを頼もうと色々カスタマイズをしようとしたところ、反応が薄いため1つ1つ伝えるつもりが、まだ途中なのにすぐお会計にしようとするのです。 後ろが並んでいるから早く済ませたい気持ちが前面に出ていて、というより被せ気味でしたね。そして無表情。

そしてそんな空気感を察してか、隣で作ってる女の子たちは注文間違えてたり。笑顔で丁寧に接客しようとしてくれていたのですが、焦ってしまうと難しいですよね。 男性方は悪循環に陥ってるのがわからないのですかね…。

地元なので土地柄大変なのはわかりますが、忙しい(大変な)時こそ丁寧な接客。丁寧かつ正確にやりましょうよ。と。

ここ、昔から接客は良い印象がほとんどないのでどうにかなるといいのですが…。仕方ないのかな。
