Ike Sunpark is filled with families with young children on a weekend. Plenty of seating, and space, not so much of a facilities like cycling zone, skating zone, etc.

We stopped some tentage for community events and an indoor cafe.

The appeal of Ikebukuro is being kids and family friendly, so having a big park nearby in the middle of a metropolis is...

A too crowded park that's far from any real station . It Used to be the Japan mint but now a commericalized extremely busy park for families with kiosks for semi expensive picnic food, coffee and smoothies. Might be good for families but not during this covid19 times. On the plus they did have an event here that looked fun...
