Otsuka Masjid & Japan Islamic Trust — Attraction in Tokyo

A prayer place for Muslim is called Mosque. Its situated at otsuka, 5-6 mins walk from otsuka station. Its a 5 floored building. I had a experience of iftar mahfil organized by a volunteer organization. It was vibrant and joyful environment. Male and Female prayer rooms were different. Famous Muslim scholar gave his presence and narrated Ramadan (Month of fasting) beautifully . We did prayer together, iftar together with so many others nationalities. [Indo] Masjidnya nyaman, bersih, meski quota yang dapat ditampung masih belum banyak. Terdapat 2 lantai dan masing2 lantai kira2 muat untuk 50 - 70 orangan, dan 1 lantai sekitar 30 orang. Mungkin agak susah ditemukan karena bentuknya seperti rumah bertingkat pada umumnya. Untuk sholat jumat selalu dilakukan pukul 12.30 mulai khutbah, dan setelah pulang selalu ada sahabat muslim yang berjualan makanan halal di sebelah pintu keluar, murah dan enak sekitar 500￥ saja. Selalu ada buka bersama setiap bulan puasa, jadi jangan sungkan untuk berbuka bersama atau menyumbang untuk donasi buka bersama.

[Eng] The mosque is comfortable and cleans, even the quota is not much enough. There are 2 floors that could accommodate 50-70 peoples, and 1 floor that could accommodate 30 peoples. it's lil bit hard too find because it's looks like a common house. Jumuah pray is start at 12.30PM, and after it finished there always will be our brother that sell halal foods the next exit door, cheap and so delicious just about 500￥. There always will be break fasting together with another our moslem brother and sister, so don't mind to join or donate for this mosque...

I'm loving the fact that when I need to pray, I find a place and it is well maintained, the people are kind and I have an enjoyable time there.
