SURYA — Restaurant in Tokyo

I have been eating the “takeout Biryani” from Surya for the past 2years thru Daemaican & I really love it. However the delivery fee makes the meal more costly, so today I finally decided to drop by the restaurant to try it personally!

A little bit disappointed because although it is cheaper to eat in the restaurant, but they don’t serve the Biryani with “Keema Curry”. Instead they serve it with “Soup Curry” which tastes like miso soup with curry powder. *But when you order food delivery from Daemaican, they serve it with Keema Curry!! 😒

It’s disappointing because other places let you choose what kind of Curry you want and how spicy u like and I was expecting the same… Biryani without real Curry is like cheese burger without cheese… so I am sorry I can’t give it a 5 star this time…

If I do go back again, I have no choice but to order their naan set with real Curry… But I am a biryani...

I got chicken vindaloo. Curry was tasty but it wasn’t the ideal vindaloo curry. It was really tasty for sure. Lot of veggies in curry, absolutely good but They should add few more chicken pieces in the curry for sure.

The tandoori chicken, mutton curry, and cheese naan lacked taste. Very bland. The chicken was burned on the outer edges and yet blood was still in the meat around the bone.
