Sushi Tosumibi Ichi — Restaurant in Tokyo

I tried the 幕の內定食 1,800 yen. The lunch set is incredible. It comes with roasted salmon belly, assorted tempura, marinated fish roe, a green salad with prochutto, a miso soup with fish meat, assorted sashimi including bluefin and yellow tail. They also provide free ice matcha and extra rice for free. The bluefin sashimi looked so yum so I ordered a seared bluefin belly nigiri, and it was melting in my mouse with the acidic umami of aged fish. The store is very neat; the staff are friendly and they also accept credit card. Finally, their oshimori is immersed with Hinoki essence oil, so I did not smell bleach. I rarely give 5 star, but they deserve it! Will come often...

Nice izakaya / sushi restaurant that is popular with the locals. Everything is in Japanese, but the menu has pictures and all the staff are super friendly and willing to help, even if you’re an aho tourist like me with a three word vocabulary of arigato, sumimasen, and gomenasai 😅🤦🏻

We ordered more than we should, but the food was really delicious and as this was our last proper meal of the trip, we couldn’t help but try as much as we could.

Everything was great, especially the wings and sushi. We also enjoyed their tempura and all the smaller dishes we ordered, like the chawanmushi and tsukemono.
