After the mountain climb, this donut shop was the perfect little treat. Each donut is ¥550, and they only accept credit card or PayPay no cash allowed, so come prepared.
I tried the green tea donut, and it was absolutely worth it. What stood out was the balance—it wasn’t overly sweet like many donuts I’ve had in Japan. Just the right amount of sweetness, with a delicate sugar coating that didn’t overwhelm the flavor.
They thoughtfully provide a paper wrap for handling the donut, which I appreciated because the sugar can get everywhere. I recommend finding a nearby bench or heading into the shade to enjoy it, especially on a hot day.

There was a queue when we arrived but it was fast moving. They only accept cashless payments like IC Cards & Credit Cards. We got the Sankakudo Doughnut Matcha, Chocolate and Custard flavor. It was really packaged very cutely. It was so yummy since it was freshly cooked. I especially loved the Matcha Flavored ones. Would love to go back to try the Mini Doughnuts next time since it was already sold out...
