Café Chouchou — Restaurant in Tokyo

First time visiting this establishment by road bike. No bike rack available, but parking along the fence which overlooks a small river. The staff were very friendly and spoke Japanese and English. The atmosphere was comfortable and open. The music ranged from the 60’s to modern which gave a nostalgic as well as relaxed a feeling. The Japanese menu not only provided pictures, English descriptions were available in addition to an English menu (no pictures). I ordered the Mac and Cheese Cheeseburger with and Oreo shake. Everything about the burger was great. The lightly grilled bun held a plethora of taste. Fresh veggies, sautéed onions, juicy patty and a side heaping of flavorful Mac and Cheese. The Oreo shake was blended well enough to drink though a straw or eat with a spoon. There’s plenty on the menu to choose from… I’ll have to make a few...

We had the mac n cheese burger and a tasting plate of 4 miniburgers. Both meals were amazing. The bread was home made so they actually had flavour, the burger had plenty of sallad, tomato and onion with a meaty patty. The miniburgers were all full of flavour and the green miniburger being my favourite. The miniburgers are small so if you have a massive hunger then it might not je enough even if it has a small amount of fries on the side. There are however plenty of mac n cheese on the plate for the big burger 😀 We also had a cold Latte and a coffee shake and the shake was probably the best one I've ever had.

I would give this place more stars if...

Mind Blowing. I had the Chocolate Cake, Chilimeat Burger (add cheese) and an Oreo Milkshake for the drink. The food was amazing and the staff was super polite and friendly. There's English on the menu and even with no Japanese, a tourist could order without difficulty. The store was clean, open, and had plenty of natural light. We sat inside where the AC was cool, and the views out the windows were lovely. There is two parking spaces for cars, and plenty of space to park or lean your bike. I look forward to...
