Don’t eat here.This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had and I live in America, so that’s saying a lot.It also should be noted that this isn’t my first time visiting Japan.

I made a reservation for 9 p.m. at 8:55 p.m. It sprinkled for 2 minutes… I counted maybe 3 drops hitting my face before it stopped. When stepping into the restaurant I was excited to see that they had giant red umbrella’s in case the sprinkling started up again.

They said we couldn’t be seated outside due to the rain (at this point there was no rain and people were enjoying their food outside) I was sad by the news but still optimistic at this point because they were kind enough to sit us in a corner but it had a window we could see out of.

My optimism quickly faded after about 20 minutes into our dining experience. Our waitress takes our drink and appetizer order and I asked if it was okay to continue looking over the menu for our entree because the food doesn’t really have any really helpful descriptions and my boyfriend is allergic to fish. She said take your time and then brought us our appetizer and drinks quickly after. We were ready to order but she dropped off the plates so quickly that we didn’t get a chance to tell her. It should be noted she also didn’t ask us.

Though at this point this would be the last time we see our waitress. 10 minutes later the host comes up to remove the menu and doesn’t speak very good English. She was explaining that the dinner menu will no longer be available at 9:30 (it was 9:20). I apologized because I was unaware and asked if it would still be possible to order but it didn’t seem to click. So she took our menu and brought us the bar bites menu. I was disappointed because our waitress had told us to take our time and then never came back for our order and I had to rethink what I wanted. Though at this point the host nor the waitress ever came back for our order. The host came for our plates and the menu quickly without asking us what we wanted to eat and then no longer checked on us.

I waited with what little hope I had left for this place but after I saw them seating people outside to eat after we were turned down due to weather (the weather did not change at all) I was done. I had to go up to the desk just to get my check because we were being completely ignored.

I’ve never been treated so poorly in my life and all they had to say was “we are sorry and you know how it gets”. I could understand that except for the fact that there were several people on the wait staff with maybe 20 guests in total.

Unwelcoming, my appetizer was mediocre at best, and the drink wasn’t as exciting as some of the pictures I’ve seen. I’ve never cried at a restaurant before but that’s how uncomfortable I felt. I also was dressed to impress but I have a feeling I was being discriminated against. Probably why you see some 5 stars and some 1 stars on here.

Please don’t support such a horrible place, the view truly wasn’t worth the unwelcoming environment.
