The entrance is inconspicuously located near the fence, just behind the car parking spaces; look for the little sign. On entering, there's the front counter, with a small selection of items for sell, like soap and groceries. The vibe is cosy, simple and comfortable.
I was attentively served by a very friendly and kindly elderly lady with a fun sense of humor, who patiently explained the menu to me. The coffee was good, as was the rice set I got, and the cake. All vegan, all homemade. I particularly liked the dressing on the salad, which was made from soybeans. Read moreI stumbled upon this quaint vegan restaurant after visiting Gotokuji Temple. The restaurant is very small but they had at least 2 tables that could accommodate parties of 4-5. The restaurant is owned by a mother and daughter, both of whom were working. The mother took our order and explained everything to us. She was so incredibly sweet. Finding meals with lots of fresh vegetables is actually kind of hard in Tokyo, so I really appreciated the colorful fresh salad with a delicious homemade dressing. We also had the keema curry which was pretty good. I would love to come back again when I have more time and try more of the menu!

As I don’t speak Japanese, I asked for them to select me an Omakase dinner. I was not disappointed. 3 small dishes: tempeh cutlet, dry daikon and spinach salad, sesame tofu, onigiri and miso soup.
